Kütahya Dumlupınar University holds land consolidation seminar in Dereköy

Kütahya Dumlupınar University (DPÜ) organized an educational seminar on land consolidation in Dereköy village, Hisarcık. Conducted as part of the Hayat University Project by the Hisarcık Vocational School, the event aimed to inform local residents about the technical and legal aspects of land management.

Lecturer Fadim Koç presented the objectives and benefits of land consolidation under Law No. 5403 on Soil Protection and Land Use. The discussion covered various types of consolidation, implementation processes, and practical advantages such as improved agricultural production, organized parceling, and better access to water and roads.

The seminar included participation from Hisarcık Vocational School Director Dr. Burak Kavas, Hisarcık Chamber of Agriculture President Yusuf Çalışkan, and local villagers. The session concluded with a Q&A period to address community concerns regarding land rights and local production impacts.
