Kütahya hosts 3rd Supply Chain Meeting to boost local production
The Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO) hosted the 3rd Supply Chain Meeting to strengthen the region's production capacity and foster local economic growth.
Esin Güral Argat, Chairperson of the KUTSO Board, emphasized that a resilient economy requires a production network where small and large businesses complement one another, rather than relying on a single sector or a few major firms. The initiative aims to create a sustainable ecosystem where local firms can meet the needs of larger companies, thereby integrating local production into national and international supply chains.
Reflecting on previous success, Argat noted that last year's event facilitated 1,085 bilateral business meetings between 31 purchasing managers and 132 supplier companies. This year, the objective is to move beyond mere meeting volume to ensure these interactions result in concrete commercial outcomes, such as new orders and permanent business partnerships.
