Kütahya hosts ‘Gördüklerim’ Anatolian photography exhibition

The ‘Gördüklerim’ (What I Have Seen) photography exhibition has opened at the Dumlupınar University (DPÜ) Special Ahmet Yakupoğlu Museum in Kütahya. Curated by Associate Professor Dr. Pınar Yazgaç, the exhibition features 52 photographs that capture the cultural fabric of Anatolia.

The collection includes images from various cities, including Kütahya, Konya, Amasya, Bursa, and Çorum. The works highlight architectural details, colors, motifs, and traces of daily life. Yazgaç noted that the exhibition begins with images of the Ulu Cami in Kütahya, a site that marked the beginning of her journey in the city 16 years ago.

Yazgaç described the exhibition as a reflection of the moments and geographies that left lasting impressions on her memory, emphasizing photography as a means of preserving reality and historical memory.
