Kütahya hosts multiple taekwondo tournaments for youth and stars

Kütahya has hosted two significant taekwondo events involving various age groups. The August 30 Victory Cup for stars, organized by the Kütahya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, saw 232 athletes from 34 clubs across 14 different cities compete for medals.

Additionally, the 2nd Traditional Outdoor Minors Friendship Competition was held in cooperation with the Kütahya Municipality and the Taekwondo Kütahya Provincial Representation. This event brought together over 100 young athletes, primarily born in 2012, 2013, and 2014, from Kütahya and the districts of Tavşanlı, Emet, and Simav. Kütahya Mayor Eyüp Kahveci attended the event, emphasizing the role of sports in character development and physical growth.
