Kütahya housing market sees rental listings surpass sales

In Kütahya, the housing market has reached a significant milestone as the number of rental listings has surpassed the number of properties for sale for the first time. According to Mehmet Demir of Demirland Gayrimenkul, rental listings currently range between 2,100 and 2,200, while sale listings have dropped to approximately 2,100.

This shift in the supply-demand balance is attributed to a growing preference for newer buildings over older properties. Demir noted that in previous years, sale listings typically doubled the number of rental listings. Regarding current rental costs in the region, 2+1 apartments are priced around 12,000 TL, 3+1 units start at 15,000 TL, and luxury options such as villas or large duplexes range between 30,000 and 40,000 TL.
