Kütahya OSB and vocational high school sign firefighting training protocol

The Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) Directorate and Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School have signed a cooperation protocol to support the professional development of students studying firefighting and fire safety.

Covering the 2026-2027 academic year, the agreement aims to reinforce theoretical classroom knowledge with practical field applications. Students will utilize the expertise, experience, and technical resources of the Kütahya OSB Fire Department. Planned activities include profession introduction seminars, technical field trips, demonstrations of firefighting vehicles and equipment, fire and emergency response drills, and occupational health and safety training.

The protocol also includes career support through professional interviews and experience-sharing sessions with firefighting personnel. Mentorship programs will be implemented for senior students to provide guidance during their transition into the workforce. The initiative seeks to strengthen the link between educational institutions and industry while cultivating qualified human resources.
