Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone announces three strategic infrastructure projects
The Kütahya Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) Board of Directors has conducted field inspections of three major strategic investments aimed at enhancing the region's industrial infrastructure, logistics, and technical services.
The first project involves a capacity expansion of the wastewater treatment plant. Funded by the World Bank through the OSB Lending Project and managed by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the expansion aims to increase daily treatment capacity to 15,000 cubic meters using modern automation and energy-efficient technologies.
The second project is a Loading Center Project developed in coordination with TCDD. Located approximately 1 kilometer from the Alayunt Train Station, this facility will provide local industrialists with more efficient access to railway transportation.
The third project is the TR33-ESKAM Project, a natural gas meter testing and calibration center with a budget of 29,484,000 TL. Supported by the Zafer Development Agency, which covers 75 percent of the costs, the 500-square-meter facility is expected to be completed within 24 months. It aims to test 60,000 meters annually, initially serving Kütahya, Isparta, and Burdur, with plans to expand services to 11 cities.
