KTM unveils new motorcycle lineup including 990 RC R
KTM has introduced several new motorcycle models, highlighted by the return to the fully faired supersport segment with the 990 RC R. Unveiled in Malaysia through distributor Eurotech Group (ETG), the 990 RC R features a 947cc LC8c parallel-twin engine producing approximately 128 hp and 103 Nm of torque. The design is inspired by the KTM RC16 MotoGP bike and includes integrated aerodynamic winglets capable of generating 14.4kg of downforce at 252 kph.
In the adventure segment, KTM is expanding its range with the 1390 Super Adventure S, 1390 Super Adventure R, and 1390 Super Adventure S Evo. These models cater to different riding needs, from long-distance touring to off-road capability. The 1390 Super Adventure S is powered by a 1,350cc V-twin engine delivering 173 PS and 145 Nm of torque.
Looking toward 2027, KTM is also preparing updates for its broader lineup, including the 390 ADVENTURE R with optional cruise control, the 790 ADVENTURE with new colorways, and upgrades to the 1390 SUPER DUKE R series featuring improved TFT dashboards and Brembo HyPure braking systems.
