KTM unveils the 2027 450 SMR Supermoto motorcycle

KTM has unveiled the 2027 KTM 450 SMR, a competition-oriented Supermoto motorcycle that retains its core technical strengths while introducing updated aesthetics and improved serviceability.

The bike features a 450 cc SOHC engine equipped with multiple riding maps, traction control, launch control, and a SUTER slipper clutch. It is designed to meet the 109db FIM noise limit. The chassis emphasizes centralized mass and ergonomic rider positioning, supported by fully adjustable WP XACT suspension, including 48mm closed cartridge forks, and Brembo braking components.

Improvements for the 2027 model include enhanced ease of maintenance through features like an accessible airbox and threaded radiator closures. The manufacturer is also extending its Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty. The model follows the success of the brand in the S1GP, where Lukas Höllbacher secured the 2025 FIM Supermoto World Championship title.
