KTMB increases weekend ETS capacity for KL-JB route

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is increasing weekend capacity on the KL Sentral-JB Sentral route by adding four additional ETS services. These extra trips will run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through December 27 to accommodate rising passenger demand for travel to the southern sector.

The additional services provide 63,200 extra seats. This brings the total weekend capacity for the route to 189,600 seats. KTMB also announced eight additional EMUPlus services running from September 25 to 27, offering 2,448 seats for routes involving Bandar Tasek Selatan, Ipoh, and Klang.
