Kuşadası: Individual attempts to move injured wild boar with lasso

In the Kuşadası district of Aydın, an individual was filmed attempting to use a lasso to pull an injured wild boar to the side of the road after it was struck by a vehicle. The accident occurred around 23:30 in the Yavansu neighborhood, where an unidentified driver struck the adult animal and fled the scene, leaving the boar with injuries to its hind legs.

Bahattin Sürücü, President of the Ecosystem Protection and Nature Lovers Association (EKODOSD), warned against such direct interventions. He stated that wild animals experiencing pain and stress from injuries can cause serious harm to anyone approaching them. Sürücü emphasized that injured wildlife should only be handled by expert teams, potentially using sedation under veterinary supervision, to ensure the safety of both humans and animals.
