Kuşadası pedestrian killed in motorcycle collision

A fatal traffic accident occurred at the Tütüncüler Junction in Kuşadası involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian. According to reports, 36-year-old İrem Pourjalalı was struck by a motorcycle operated by Ali Enes Işıkay.

The impact caused the pedestrian to be thrown several meters, while the motorcyclist was dragged approximately 100 meters along the road. Pourjalalı was transported to Kuşadası State Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries despite medical efforts. The motorcyclist, Işıkay, remains under medical treatment.

The Kuşadası Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a legal investigation. Authorities are currently examining speed limit violations at the junction, brake marks, and the technical condition of the motorcycle to determine the exact circumstances of the collision.
