Kuşadası tourism bus zones expanded by Aydın Municipality

Aydın Metropolitan Municipality has approved a new decision regarding cruise tourism in Kuşadası. Following requests from local tradespeople, the UKOME has authorized tourist buses to pick up and drop off passengers in the Kervansaray area, in addition to the existing designated zone at Atatürk Square.

Previously, a decision by the Kuşadası District Governor's Office had restricted bus operations to Atatürk Square, moving them approximately 500 meters away from the port area. This change had drawn criticism for increasing traffic congestion and concentrating tourist activity in a single location, which local business owners argued limited the economic benefits of cruise tourism for the wider community.
