Kuansing DPRD Chairman urges companies to optimize CSR for road improvements

H. Juprizal, Chairman of the Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing) Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), has called on companies operating in the region to increase their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions to support local development.

A primary focus of this request is the improvement of the Simpang Cengar–Bukit Payung road section. This route is heavily used for the operational activities of PT KTBM and PT BKP. Juprizal noted that limited regional fiscal capacity necessitates stronger synergy between the government, the DPRD, and the business sector to address community needs.

He emphasized that businesses should look beyond profit and demonstrate concern for social conditions and infrastructure within their operational areas. Improved roads are seen as essential for community mobility, economic activity, and the distribution of goods and production results.
