Kuasa Gelap: Perjanjian Darah horror sequel introduces city-wide terror

The horror film sequel ‘Kuasa Gelap: Perjanjian Darah’, directed by Rizal Mantovani, expands the scale of terror from a single family to an entire city. The story introduces an ancient entity known as Rephaim, which is tied to a specific dominion and demands worship in exchange for human lives.

In the narrative, Romo Rendra (played by Lukman Sardi) and Romo Thomas (Jerome Kurnia) face a new exorcism case involving Daniel (Venly Arauna). Daniel exhibits increasingly strange behavior, leading Rendra to believe he is possessed, though this is met with resistance from Daniel's father, Halim (Ferry Salim). The production, a collaboration between Paragon Pictures and Ideosource Entertainment, explores themes of past sins and their consequences.

During a press conference, actor Venly Arauna shared the challenges of portraying Daniel, noting that the physical and emotional demands of depicting the character's fragility and inhuman gestures nearly led him to give up during filming.
