Kuasa Gelap: Perjanjian Darah trailer introduces ancient demon Rephaim

The trailer for the horror sequel ‘Kuasa Gelap: Perjanjian Darah’ has been released, introducing a new ancient entity known as Rephaim. This entity, which is depicted as having ties to Fallen Angels, seeks human followers through blood pacts that demand lives in exchange for worldly gains.

Actors Lukman Sardi and Jerome Kurnia reprise their roles as Romo Rendra and Romo Thomas, respectively. The characters must perform exorcism rituals to combat Rephaim, a threat that is described as being significantly larger in scale than previous encounters. The terror centers on a character named Daniel, played by Venly Arauna, whose body is possessed by the ancient demon.

Director Rizal Mantovani stated that the sequel expands the scope of the story from a single family to an entire region. Producer Robert Ronny noted that the film explores themes of human sin and divine faithfulness, while Executive Producer Andi Boediman highlighted the narrative focus on the consequences of choices made by one generation upon the next.
