KUCCPS addresses delays in university transfer letters

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) has addressed concerns regarding delays in issuing inter-university transfer letters. The agency confirmed that the processing of these letters is currently ongoing and assured students that the documents will be generated automatically for download through the student portal once the process is complete.

This update follows the expiration of the inter-university transfer deadline on August 14. The delay has caused anxiety among students, particularly as many institutions are scheduled to begin admitting new students in late August and early September. For instance, the University of Nairobi has set its reporting date for August 24.

KUCCPS has advised all affected applicants to monitor their student portals regularly to verify the status of their transfer requests. Once the letters are available, students can download them to facilitate reporting to their newly selected institutions.
