Kuching City FC emerged as a leading contender for the 2025/2026 M‑League Awards, with six players and coach Aidil Sharin Sahak nominated across the six main categories. The nominees include goalkeeper Haziq Nadzli, defender Rodney Celvin Akwensivie, midfielder Danial Amier Norhisham, striker Ramadhan Saifullah Usman, import player Petrus Shitembi and coach Aidil Sharin Sahak.

Meanwhile, KL City FC confirmed that all player and staff salaries for the 2025‑2026 season have been paid in full, ending any wage arrears. President of the Kuala Lumpur Football Association Syed Yazid Syed Omar credited patron Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil for the club’s financial discipline, noting the statement, “Alhamdulillah, kesemua pembayaran gaji berjaya diselesaikan.” The stability is expected to boost the club’s on‑field performance and contribute talent to the national team.
