KuCoin expands institutional lending and RWA collateral integration
KuCoin has announced several updates to its institutional services and trading offerings. The exchange has partnered with FinChain to integrate FUSD into its Real-World Asset (RWA) Collateral Mirroring Solution (RCMS). This allows yield-bearing FUSD, backed by money market funds and government bonds, to be used as collateral without requiring users to sell or transfer the assets directly to KuCoin.
Additionally, KuCoin has upgraded its Institutional Interest-Free Lending Program by integrating it with the Unified Trading Account (UTA). This update allows institutional clients to use borrowed capital across Spot, Margin, and Futures from a single account. The qualifying threshold for newly registered API clients has been reduced from 30 million to 10 million USDT in 30-day trading volume, and the program offers 0% interest for the first two months. Eligible clients can borrow up to 3 million USDT in USDT, USDC, BTC, or ETH.
In its retail and futures sector, KuCoin launched KuLeague, a flagship futures trading competition. The inaugural season features a 400,000 USDT reward pool and introduces a Dynamic Team Matching mechanism to maintain competitive balance among participants.
