KUD Stjepan Radić celebrates 30 years of Konavle tradition

The KUD ‘Stjepan Radić’ cultural society in Pridvorje held its first folklore evening as part of the ‘Đe tradicija živi’ anniversary program, celebrating 30 years of preserving the cultural heritage of Konavle.

The event featured performances from all generations of folklore dancers, ranging from the youngest members to veterans. The program included traditional Konavle dances, songs, and customs, such as the Konavle wedding toast. Notably, the sound of the svrodnica was heard in Konavle for the first time in over a hundred years, performed by Stjepan Marinović.

Following the formal concert, which included mandolinists and mixed klapa groups, the celebration continued with a performance by the Konavle rock band Teška vremena and DJ Mistery.
