Kudus hosts MilkLife Festival SenengMinton to promote youth badminton

The MilkLife Festival SenengMinton 2026 was held in Kudus, Central Java, from October 17 to 18, attracting 360 elementary and madrasah students. This event marks the fourth stop in the festival series, following Purwokerto, Magelang, and Solo, with a scheduled stop in Semarang in December 2026.

Fadil Imran, Chairman of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), praised the competition for fostering early-age athlete regeneration and building a love for badminton from a young age. The initiative aims to create a strong development ecosystem by encouraging children to play and develop their potential for national and international achievement.

Yoppy Rosimin, Program Director of Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation, emphasized that the festival's primary concept is to establish a foundation of enjoyment in playing before children transition to more serious training stages.
