Indonesia reports various security incidents and criminal arrests

Various criminal and security incidents have been reported across Indonesia. In Jakarta, a group brawl broke out between residents of Gang Manggis and Gang Sawo in the Tebet area, allegedly triggered by disputes over working as traffic guides at a U-turn. Police have detained five individuals following the clash.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) reported multiple security breaches. In North Jakarta, security personnel thwarted a theft of bonding cables at Kampung Bandan Station, detaining one suspect. In Tulungagung, the placement of stones on the Sumbergempol-Ngunut railway tracks disrupted two train services, prompting KAI to warn of severe legal penalties for such actions.

In other regions, police in Pelalawan arrested eight individuals involved in a truck theft and dismantling syndicate. In Asahan, a police officer is undergoing internal investigation following a viral video involving a public disturbance. Additionally, in North Jakarta, authorities arrested a narcotics dealer and four users during a raid in the Kampung Bahari area.
