Kuknoor: Halappa Acharya accuses Congress government of multiple scams
Former minister Halappa Acharya has accused the ruling Congress government of involvement in a series of scams, including the Valmiki Development Corporation scam. Speaking at a BJP-organized workshop for the second phase of the Special Electoral Roll Revision (SIR) in Masabahchanahala village, Acharya emphasized the importance of workers in removing fake or erroneous names from voter lists.
Acharya also criticized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for appointing Nagendra to a ministerial position, labeling it as ‘politics of betrayal.’ Additionally, he highlighted local issues, noting that despite severe drought in the district, local representatives have neglected public distress, specifically failing to manage water flow to the Benakal tank.
