Kula and Crvenka pedestrian-bicycle path receives new funding
Construction is progressing on a pedestrian and bicycle path designed to connect the towns of Kula and Crvenka in Serbia. The Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism has allocated 25 million dinars for the current phase, which will fund the construction of an additional 1.2 kilometers of the path.
Kula Mayor Dr. Vesna Tomić stated that while work is intensive, immediate priorities have shifted toward addressing urgent issues regarding water levels and the condition of the Danube–Tisa–Danube canal. Once these water-related matters are resolved, efforts will resume to secure funding for the remaining 1.5 kilometers required to fully connect the two municipalities. The completed path aims to improve local recreation, sports, and social activities for residents.
