Kula hosts 19th Art Colony featuring 23 painters
The 19th Art Colony, organized by the Municipal Organization of Disabled Workers in Kula, was held at the ‘Ambassadors’ Restaurant. The event was opened by Karoj Valko, Deputy President of the Kula Municipality.
This year, 23 painters participated in the traditional manifestation. Some artists brought completed works, while others created new pieces during the colony. Obrad Vojinović, president of the Municipal Organization of Disabled Workers Kula, noted that many participants are familiar artists who return annually due to the local atmosphere.
Following tradition, the artworks produced are not for sale. Instead, they are donated to organizations and individuals who have supported the work of the Municipal Organization of Disabled Workers throughout the year as sponsors or through other forms of assistance. Vojinović emphasized that gifting a painting serves as a lasting token of gratitude and holds greater significance than a financial transaction.
