Kula, Manisa: One dead and four injured in highway collision
A fatal traffic accident occurred on the D300 highway in the Kula district of Manisa, Turkey. At approximately 23:00, a pickup truck driven by Sadık Karaduman struck a semi-truck from behind at the Esenyazı Junction as the truck was exiting the Esenyazı neighborhood.
The collision resulted in the death of 21-year-old passenger Ramazan Oslu. Four other individuals, including the driver of the pickup truck and three passengers, sustained serious injuries. The injured were transported to various medical facilities, including Kula State Hospital, Salihli State Hospital, and Manisa Celal Bayar University Hospital.
Emergency responders, including fire departments and medical teams, worked to extricate the five occupants trapped inside the pickup truck. Following the incident, the driver of the semi-truck, identified as P. G., was detained by gendarmerie teams. Traffic on the İzmir-Ankara D300 highway was temporarily halted in the direction of Uşak before being restored under controlled conditions.
