Kulai Police Arrest Two Men Over Machete Attack on Vehicle

At about 5:50 a.m. on the Senai bridge leading to Senai International Airport, a driver who kept his high‑beam lights on was cut off by a Kia driven by four men. One of the occupants exited the vehicle wielding a 30‑cm machete, shouted at the driver and struck the front bonnet, leaving the paint damaged.

Kulai District Police, led by Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee, arrested two Indian men, aged 26 and 30, later that night in Forest City, Gelang Patah. Officers seized the suspect’s Kia key, a mobile phone, clothing and the machete with its sheath. Urine tests showed no drug use. The case is being investigated under Sections 506, 427 and 279 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation, assault and dangerous driving.
