Kuldeep Yadav leads Yorkshire to victory over Essex

Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav delivered a career-best performance to lead Yorkshire to an innings and 106-run victory over Essex in a County Championship Division One match at Headingley.

Yadav recorded match figures of 10 for 120, marking his maiden 10-wicket haul in a first-class match. He claimed four wickets in the first innings and six in the second. His performance helped Yorkshire secure their fourth win in 12 matches.

Yorkshire posted a first-innings total of 390, supported by an unbeaten 80 from Dom Bess and 36 runs from Yadav. Essex was bowled out for 171 in their first innings and 113 in their second. George Hill also contributed five wickets across the match.
