Kuldeep Yadav named Impact Player of the Series in India's ODI win

Kuldeep Yadav has been named the ‘Impact Player of the Series’ following India’s 2-1 ODI series victory over the West Indies. The left-arm wrist-spinner was the leading wicket-taker of the three-match series, claiming seven wickets, including a notable four-wicket haul in Thiruvananthapuram.

During the series, Kuldeep also achieved a significant milestone by becoming the fastest Indian spinner to reach 200 wickets in men’s One Day Internationals (ODIs). Team physiotherapist Yogesh Parmar presented the award in the dressing room, praising Kuldeep for his consistent performance and dedication.

In accepting the honor, Kuldeep credited the team’s senior batters—including Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Rohit Sharma—for their contributions with the bat. He also noted that preparatory training sessions in Thiruvananthapuram helped him find his rhythm heading into the series.
