Kuldeep Yadav vows return to county cricket after ten-wicket haul

Indian international spinner Kuldeep Yadav has vowed to return to county cricket following a career-best performance for Yorkshire. Playing against Essex at Headingley, Yadav secured his first-class career’s first ten-wicket haul, finishing with match figures of 10-120 (4-70 in the first innings and 6-50 in the second).

His performance helped Yorkshire secure an innings-and-106-run victory, a result that largely secures the team’s Division One status. For his efforts, Yadav was named both ‘Player of the Match’ and the Rothesay County Championship ‘Player of the Round’ for Round 13.

Yadav, who signed a multi-format deal with Yorkshire in July, expressed satisfaction with performing in English conditions. He noted that while the environment differs from his home conditions, achieving the milestone made the experience special and indicated his intention to return for future stints with the club.
