Kulmbach police arrest man after attempted robbery and assault

A man was apprehended by police in Kulmbach following an attempted robbery and assault on Wednesday evening. The suspect reportedly approached a man in front of an ice cream parlor on Kressenstein Street and demanded cash.

When the victim refused to comply, the suspect allegedly used a chair from the establishment's outdoor seating area to strike the individual. The victim sustained minor injuries. Following a search, police located the suspect within the city limits and have launched an investigation into suspected dangerous bodily harm.
