Kulonprogo DPRD monitors local labor absorption and regional policies

The Kulonprogo Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Commission IV is prioritizing the monitoring of local labor absorption and the implementation of regional policies. During a recent visit to PT Indonesia Plafon Semesta, officials noted that approximately 90% of the company's 300 employees are residents of Kulonprogo.

Commission IV is also overseeing labor policies at PT Jawa Sport Gloves, an export-oriented golf glove manufacturer that recently relocated to the region, citing the accessibility of Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA). The commission's oversight extends to disability protection and tourism development, aiming to ensure that regional regulations effectively improve community welfare.
