Kulonprogo DPRD monitors road, bridge, and school projects

The Kulonprogo Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Commission III is conducting field monitoring of several infrastructure projects to ensure they meet technical specifications and safety standards. The oversight includes road and bridge construction in the Pengasih, Panjatan, and Galur districts, specifically targeting the Joho Pengasih Bridge, Krembangan Panjatan Bridge, and the Cangaan–Ngremang road section.

In addition to transportation infrastructure, the commission is supervising the rehabilitation of school buildings at SDN Kepek Pengasih, SMP Muhammadiyah Sentolo, and SMP Negeri 2 Kalib. Commission III member Suradi emphasized that because these projects utilize public funds, the quality of construction must prioritize the interests and safety of the community rather than just meeting administrative requirements.
