Kulturmødet Mors festival features performing arts debates

The Kulturmødet Mors cultural festival is set to open with a dedicated program for the performing arts. Organized by ISCENE and Limfjordsteatret, the initiative aims to strengthen the voice of performing arts within societal debates and highlight the creative capacity of live art.

The program includes various debates and events, such as a quiz regarding power and cultural life hosted by Applaus, and discussions on censorship, religious criticism, and the role of art in society. Specific topics include the impact of colonization within the Kingdom of Denmark and the changing role of performing arts.

The festival relies heavily on a large volunteer force. Approximately 200 volunteers support the event, managing logistics such as equipment transport and stage setup to facilitate the cultural gatherings.
