Kumamoto Manga Arts launches ‘Yowamushi Pedal’ inking workshop

Kumamoto Manga Arts, operated by Core Mix, has introduced a new lineup for its manga inking workshop featuring the popular bicycle road racing manga, ‘Yowamushi Pedal’. In collaboration with Akita Shoten, the workshop allows participants to use professional-grade tools, such as G-pens and ink, to practice inking iconic scenes from the series.

The experience lasts between 60 and 120 minutes and costs 5,000 yen. The fee includes a framed version of the completed artwork and a set of the G-pen and ink used during the session for participants to take home. Additionally, the workshop provides smartphone stands at all seats to allow participants to record their process via time-lapse video.
