Kumanovo Battle 114th Anniversary Commemorated in North Macedonia

Official ceremonies were held on Zebrnjak hill near Kumanovo to mark the 114th anniversary of the Battle of Kumanovo, a key event from the First Balkan War in 1912. The commemorations included the laying of wreaths and state and military honors.

Attending the event were Serbian Minister Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski and North Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Stoilković, alongside delegations from the Serbian Army, the diplomatic corps, and representatives of the Serbian community in North Macedonia. The ceremony was organized as part of Serbia's state program for marking historical anniversaries.

During her speech, Minister Đurđević Stamenkovski described the battle site as a place where the ‘Kosovo Covenant’ was fulfilled and emphasized the importance of maintaining brotherly relations between the Serbian and Macedonian peoples.
