Kumanovo hosts regional football tournament and Balkan theatre festival

Kumanovo is hosting significant cultural and sporting events aimed at regional cooperation. The fifth annual football tournament in honor of Qenan Ameti recently concluded, featuring 24 teams from Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia. The event served as a gathering for football veterans and community members to promote friendship and respect through sport.

Additionally, the third edition of the Balkan Theatre Festival, KU-FEST, is scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 5. The festival will feature six theatrical performances from artists representing North Macedonia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, and Serbia. The program includes musical performances by Nezafete Shala and Sokol Latifi, as well as educational lectures for children regarding the impact of theater on development. A professional jury will award seven prizes to recognize outstanding direction, acting, and performances.
