Kumanovo to host major basketball tournaments and boxing meet

Kumanovo is set to host several significant sporting events. The city will host the Macedonian Basketball Supercup for both men and women on September 26 or 27 this year. Furthermore, a memorandum of cooperation signed between the Municipality of Kumanovo and the Basketball Federation of Macedonia has designated the city as the host for the final matches of the Macedonian Cup in both 2027 and 2028.

In boxing, Boxing Club Kumanovo will travel to Rome, Italy, for a dual meet on September 26. The club will participate with a reinforced roster including athletes from other Macedonian clubs such as As Prilep, Aleksos Ognenoski from Ohrid, and Familija Demirovi. The event aims to deepen the collaboration between the Kumanovo and Roman boxing clubs.
