Kumar Kushagra scores seventh First-Class century for India A

In an unofficial Test match between India A and Australia A in Puducherry, batter Kumar Kushagra scored his seventh First-Class century to help his team recover from a difficult position. After India A fell to 97/5, Kushagra and Tanush Kotian anchored the innings with a 138-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

Kushagra, a 21-year-old from Jharkhand, reached his century on Day 2, following a strong recent run of form that included a century in the Duleep Trophy final. Sai Sudharsan also contributed a composed 57 in his first match following a month-long injury layoff. The Australian attack included Test bowlers Brendan Doggett and Todd Murphy.
