Kumasi Central Prisons wins football at Luv FM Corporate Games 2026

More than 22 corporate institutions from Ghana’s Ashanti Region participated in the Luv FM Corporate Games 2026, an event designed to promote physical fitness, workplace relationships, and business networking.

Kumasi Central Prisons won the football competition after defeating Rango Construction Limited. Team leader Deputy Superintendent of Prisons Richmond Oppong attributed the victory to defensive discipline and tactical substitutions, noting the team had only three days of training prior to the event.

Other notable winners included Amenfiman Community Bank, which secured victories in table tennis and volleyball, and GLICO, which won the line-and-spoon race and draft competition. CKM won the penalty-kick contest for chief executives. Maxwell Frimpong Manso of the Multimedia Group Limited stated the initiative aims to encourage physical activity among workers and facilitate professional partnerships outside the office.
