Kumluca to host second annual Traditional Honey Festival on August 14

The second annual Traditional Honey Festival is scheduled to take place on August 14 in the Kumluca district of Ulus, Bartın. Preparations for the event are complete, with local authorities having finalized the setup of stages, spectator areas, and vendor stands.

Mayor Mustafa Bozkurt announced that the festival will feature various giveaways, including electronic goods and two calves donated by a breeder from Samsun. Additionally, 150 kilograms of chestnut and forest rose (delibal) honey will be distributed to participants. The festival will conclude with a concert by artist Hande Ünsal.

To facilitate attendance, free transportation services will depart from Bartın city center starting at 16:00. Attendees can obtain tickets at the entrance, and the municipality has made arrangements for those unable to attend to participate in the prize draws remotely.
