Kundipura police solve murder of 19-year-old man

Police in Kundipura have solved the murder of 19-year-old Raja Kahar in Bangaon. Investigations revealed that the victim was strangled with a rope.

Authorities arrested the victim's mother, 55-year-old Rajkumari Kahar, and her lover, 30-year-old Rohini Nanda. The motive stemmed from ongoing disputes regarding the mother's relationship, which the victim opposed. On the night of August 16, an argument broke out after Raja demanded that Nanda leave the house, leading the two suspects to kill him.

Following the incident, the suspects attempted to claim that Raja had died in his sleep due to alcohol consumption. However, local suspicions and a post-mortem report led police to uncover the truth. Both suspects have been sent to jail.
