Kuni releases new single ‘Francesca’ dedicated to long-term friendship

The artist Kuni, also known as Eleonora Dane, released a new single titled ‘Francesca’ on August 28 through Factory Flaws. The song is a tribute to a real-life friend of 23 years and focuses on the authenticity of everyday connections.

The track was inspired by a humorous text message from the namesake, who mentioned having spinach in her teeth all day at work without noticing. Kuni noted that while the idea began as a joke, it evolved into a sincere portrayal of a long-standing friendship built on small, daily details and shared irony.

‘Francesca’ is the second single of 2026, following the release of ‘She’ in May. Both tracks serve as precursors to Kuni’s debut full-length album, which is expected to arrive later this year.
