Kunitomi Town establishes council to tackle agricultural challenges

Kunitomi Town has established the Kunitomi Town Regional Agriculture Future Creation Council to address various challenges facing the local agricultural sector. Led by Vice Mayor Hideki Yokoyama, the council aims to foster cooperation between relevant organizations to build a sustainable framework for regional farming.

The initiative seeks to tackle critical issues including the aging population of farmers, a shortage of successors, and the fragmentation and abandonment of agricultural land.
