Kunsthall Dikemark presents mental health art exhibition

Kunsthall Dikemark and the Dikemark Psychiatric Hospital Museum are presenting a new seasonal exhibition titled ‘Tenke fritt, som ein vandrar på jorda’ (Think freely, like a wanderer on earth). The exhibition focuses on the theme of mental health, utilizing both indoor and outdoor spaces to engage with the history of the buildings and the surrounding area.

The program features sculptures by Gitte Dæhlin, video works by Mohamed Mohamed, a commissioned composition by Eivind Buene, and pieces from the Dikemark collection. Simultaneously, the Dikemark Psychiatric Hospital Museum is hosting ‘Sandheters vei gjennom lys og mørke’, an exhibition showcasing works created by former patients. The event is curated by Anne Siv Falkenberg Pedersen.
