Kupres Municipality provides financial aid to 153 pensioners

The Municipality of Kupres has approved a one-time financial aid payment of 200 KM for 153 local pensioners. This initiative serves as a pilot project intended to establish a foundation for future support programs.

To qualify for the assistance, pensioners must have resided in the municipality for at least three months prior to the public call, have a total monthly pension (including foreign pensions) not exceeding 750 KM, and possess no other sources of income.

Mayor Danko Jurič stated that the program is a first step toward providing concrete support to retirees who have contributed significantly to the community. He indicated that for the following year, the municipality plans to increase the aid amounts and expand the number of eligible pensioners. Additionally, the administration announced that a public call for one-time financial assistance for students for the 2026/2027 academic year will be released soon.
