Kupres officials discuss regional development during Municipality Day

During the ceremonial session of the Kupres Municipal Council to mark Municipality Day, Darijana Filipović, a representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasized the need to transform the region's natural and tourism potential into economic opportunities for younger generations.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including Dragan Čović, President of the Croatian National Assembly of BiH, and Borjana Krišto, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program included a memorial service at the ‘Zahvalnost’ monument, where representatives from Kupres and Croatia honored fallen defenders.

Local authorities outlined several development plans, including the completion of a sports hall and recreational center, investments in water and sewage infrastructure, and the construction of a fire station. Future projects slated for 2027 and 2028 include the renovation of the town square and the reconstruction of the municipal stadium.
