Kurdistan Women's National Conference held in Sanandaj

The national conference titled ‘The Kurdish Lady; From Historical Roots to New Horizons’ is being held at the Fajr Cultural and Artistic Complex in Sanandaj. The event aims to recognize the human and cultural capacities of Kurdish women and provide a scientific platform for researchers to study influential female figures in the region.

Payam Abdolmaleki, Director of the Kurdistan Seminary for Sisters, stated that Kurdish women represent a significant cultural and identity asset for the region due to their moral and emotional characteristics. He emphasized the importance of introducing historical role models, such as Fatemeh Golvakhi, to younger generations to strengthen cultural identity and social cohesion.
