Kurly N Mart transaction volume grows 10-fold in first year

Naver and Kurly announced that their joint online grocery service, Kurly N Mart, has seen its transaction volume grow approximately 10-fold since its launch in September last year. The service leverages Naver's extensive shopping user base and Naver Plus Membership alongside Kurly's product sourcing and stable early-morning and same-day delivery infrastructure.

Data indicates that the 30-40 age demographic is a primary driver of growth, representing over 72% of users who have utilized the service 10 or more times. Additionally, more than 80% of all transactions occur through the Naver Plus Store app. The introduction of same-day delivery in February contributed to a 34% increase in orders placed between 6 AM and 12 PM within a single month.

Moving forward, the companies intend to enhance personalized shopping experiences by utilizing search, click, and purchase history. In the second half of the year, they plan to expand into 'discovery-type recommendations' that suggest products based on a user's broader shopping context and interests. To celebrate the first anniversary, Kurly N Mart is hosting a promotional festival through September 6, featuring various discounts and special offers.
