Kurtlar Vadisi series under investigation for predicting fund crisis

An investigation into the Turkish television series ‘Kurtlar Vadisi’ has gained attention due to striking similarities between its scripted plots and recent financial crises. The series, which has long been accused of containing coded messages regarding deep state activities, is under scrutiny following the suspicious death of former MİT official Kaşif Kozinoğlu.

Specifically, episodes aired in 2014 appear to have predicted current methods of fund-based market manipulation. In a scene from January 9, 2014, a character describes how certain capital groups artificially inflate values through fund purchases, pivot to foreign currency to crash the market, and then re-enter the system when prices hit their lowest point to seize control.

Further details in the series suggest that trading operations on Borsa İstanbul were being directed by instructions from abroad. The investigation has already led to legal actions, including the arrest of screenwriter Bayram Özbek, as authorities examine the connection between the production and real-world financial and political events.
